HISTORY OF THE FAIR

The National Capital Antiques, Art & Design Fair (NCAADF)
was first held in Ottawa in 2019 and although having been highly
successful, as fate would have it both the 2020 & 2021 Fairs had
to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and then the
following year the venue for the Fair was sold & unavailable for
functions. (see the review of the 2019 NCAADF below)

Then after six years, in 2025 the NCAADF was revived and held
in a more attractive & accommodating venue than that of before,
featuring a select list of established exhibitors showcasing a
broad selection of high-quality material, ranging from 13 th century
antiquities, through to Scandinavian 21 st century design elements,
working artists etc.

The 2025 NCAADF was deemed a highly qualified success by
both the exhibitors & attendees alike, as borne out in the following
review by Canadian Antiques & Vintage Magazine (see below).
In the wake of the highly successful
2025 NCAADF we have now
established the NCAADF as being Ottawa’s premier antique
event
, and one of only 2, two-day antique indoor events in
Ontario.

This year’s 2026 NCAADF will again showcase a growing roster
of well-known, established dealers offering a varied selection of
fine quality items, ranging from period formal furniture,
Canadiana, Quebec folk art, mid-century modern design
elements, working artists etc., affording both avid collectors as
well as those seeking to accent their home décor with all manner
of unique design elements.
